About the Role
- Drive demand following potential regulatory approval for the assigned product through education.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted Dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals/objectives.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along an educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical/patient access education; coordinate clinical education programs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/brand strategy/tactics for customer segments.
- Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement via education and relationship cultivation.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities/sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies/training and demonstrate patient-first values.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic/business planning; managed care understanding; strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on Dermatologists; managing complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Travel
- Valid driverβs license. Travel/driving/flying as needed; overnight 25β50%.
