About the Role
Specialty Business Manager (SBM) in Dermatology sales driving demand through education following potential regulatory approval. Educates HCPs and optimizes business opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts; supports achievement of sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education
- Conduct clinical selling; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum
- Support initial clinical/patient access education
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer)
- Manage Dermatology accounts (practices/clinics/independent offices)
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute brand strategy within customer segment
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and clinical information
- Execute local marketing strategies; build engagement via relationship development and education
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and healthcare groups
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment updates
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office)
- Follow compliance policies and training; uphold patient-first values

Minimum requirements/qualifications
Required:
- BS/BA
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience (preferred)
- Business/strategic planning; adaptability
- Understanding of managed care
- Strong communication and collaboration
- Reside within or near assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals
- Dermatology experience
- Experience with complex reimbursement issues

Licenses/Travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel (25–50%)

Training
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; classification and overtime eligibility vary during training; transition to exempt status after passing.

Compensation/Benefits (Connecticut - Virtual)
- Estimated hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31
