About the Role / How you will contribute:
- Drive demand via education following potential regulatory approval.
- Educate HCPs and optimize business opportunities in Dermatology practices, clinics, hospital accounts, and independent physician offices.
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Manage territory to attain sales goals/metrics; execute brand strategy within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messaging using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies and training.
Minimum Requirements (Required):
- BA/BS; 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Managed care understanding; strong communication/presentation; collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals; experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
