Responsibilities
- Drive demand via education following potential regulatory approval for assigned product.
- Educate HCPs and optimize opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding; conduct clinical selling and deliver clinical value proposition.
- Provide clinical and patient access education; coordinate HCP education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals using product volume and other key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with healthcare provider decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources; adhere to compliance policies and training.
Qualifications (Required)
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Highly preferred: experience calling on dermatologists/dermatology.
- Strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, collaboration; live within/near assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct healthcare professional selling; dermatology calling experience; complex reimbursement experience.
Training/License/Travel
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid driverβs license; ability to drive/fly; 25β50% overnight travel possible.
