About the Role
- Drive demand post potential regulatory approval through education to healthcare providers (HCPs)
- Educate HCPs and optimize business in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology
- Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals/objectives

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education
- Conduct clinical selling and deliver the clinical value proposition across an educational continuum
- Support clinical and patient access education for medical staff
- Coordinate clinical education for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer)
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics by executing brand strategy/tactics
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through relationship-building and education
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant groups
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs)
- Follow compliance policies and training; uphold patient-first and customer satisfaction standards

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology experience/calling dermatologists highly preferred
- Business/strategic planning; managed care understanding
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in healthcare/pharma/biotech/device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience
- Experience calling on Dermatologists
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues

Training Requirements
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams)
- Driver’s License required
- Travel: drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel 25–50%
