Responsibilities:
- Drive demand for assigned dermatology product through education following potential regulatory approval.
- Educate HCPs and optimize opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along an educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical/patient access education; coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management in dermatology practices, clinics, independent offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement through education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and stakeholders.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience), or 2+ years at Takeda.
- Experience calling on dermatologists/dermatology highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on dermatologists; managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training/Travel/Licenses:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid driverβs license; travel/driving/flying as needed (up to ~25β50% overnight).
