Responsibilities:
- Drive demand for assigned product post-regulatory approval through education of healthcare providers (HCPs).
- Support account onboarding; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Provide clinical and patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Perform dermatology account management in specialty practices, clinics/hospitals, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists, HCPs, and professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities/sponsor programs; stay current on disease states and treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience (calling on Dermatologists) highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; Dermatologist calling.
- Experience communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training/License/Travel:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid Driverβs License; drive/fly to accounts; overnight travel up to 25β50%.
