Responsibilities:
- Drive demand post-regulatory approval through HCP education; optimize opportunities in dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across the brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical/patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices, clinics, independent physician offices; attain sales goals and territory metrics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; identify/cultivate relationships to improve engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and the market.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Follow compliance policies/training; uphold patient-first standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); or 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning; managed care knowledge; strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct HCP selling experience.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral). Training period: non-exempt and eligible for overtime; not eligible for sales incentives/bonuses. After passing: transition to exempt status.
Licenses/Travel:
- Valid driverβs license.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (25β50%).
