About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand after potential regulatory approval through education. It educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) applies business processes to benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers through a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics in assigned segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through relationship-building and education.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and related groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow all compliance policies/guidelines; seek clarification when unsure.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatologist/dematology calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning skills; adaptability to market conditions.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal/influencing/presentation/written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs (pharma/biotech/device/healthcare) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; 25–50% overnight travel.

Training Requirements:
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- External hires are non-exempt during training and eligible for overtime during training only.
- Training includes live instruction/independent study/role play (up to 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week).
- After exams, transition to exempt status.

Benefits/Compensation:
- Georgia (Virtual); U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31. Short-term incentives and potential insurance/401(k)/disability/life, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
