About the Role:
Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand for an assigned dermatology product through education, optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP clinical education programs.
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics, independent offices, and hospital-related settings.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics by executing brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies, build customer engagement, and share best practices.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and healthcare groups.
- Develop and sponsor medical education opportunities; stay current on disease/treatment and business changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
- Follow compliance policies and training; seek clarification when uncertain.
Minimum requirements:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling (pharma/biotech/medical device) OR 2+ years selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning; understanding managed care; strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct HCP selling; reimbursement-issue experience.
Training/Licenses/Travel:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral); valid driverβs license.
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel (25β50%).
