About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education, educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing opportunities in targeted dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Attain territory sales goals using product volume and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with provider decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messaging using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement via relationships and education.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and the business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business and strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in pharma/biotech/device/healthcare (or relevant clinical/industry experience).
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of mandatory product training with written and oral exams; during training, may be classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime only during the training period (no sales incentives/production bonuses).
- After passing exams, transition to exempt status and bi-weekly pay; eligible for sales incentives/contests.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; some overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation and Benefits Summary (location-specific):
- Asheville, NC. U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31. Potential eligibility for short-term incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
