Position Summary:
You will join our specialty respiratory team to support specialist healthcare providers across your territory by providing clear clinical education, helping navigate access and reimbursement, and building strong professional relationships.
Territory:
Tyler, East Dallas, Longview, Lufkin and Nacogdoches. Ideal candidate will reside in Tyler, TX. (Relocation assistance not provided.)
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist customers (pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists, practice managers).
- Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and support to specialist teams.
- Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
- Develop tailored account plans and tactics to drive patient access and service.
- Work with cross-functional partners (market access, medical affairs, marketing).
- Adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines in all customer interactions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
- Domestic travel, including occasional overnight travel up to 30%.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive as required.
- Hiring levels: Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical device sales; Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Buy & Bill or specialty pharmacy distribution channels.
- Familiarity with payer reimbursement or market access teams; biologic/rare disease/immunology/respiratory specialty sales; IDNs/hospital systems; infusion and specialty pharmacy experience.
- Proven account planning with measurable outcomes; comfortable in primarily remote role with occasional in-person/hybrid activities.
Work Arrangement/Location:
Field-based; on-site presence in territory; regular travel within territory and occasionally beyond. Driving is essential.
