Specialty Account Specialist (Respiratory) Seattle, Washington

Position Summary:
Join our specialty respiratory team to support specialist healthcare providers across your territory. Provide clear clinical education, help navigate access and reimbursement, and build strong professional relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist customers (pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists, practice managers).
- Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and support to specialist teams.
- Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
- Develop tailored account plans and tactics to drive patient access and service.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners (market access, medical affairs, marketing).
- Adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines in all customer interactions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
- Domestic travel up to 30% (occasional overnight).
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to drive as required.
- Hire level:
- Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years pharma/medical device sales.
- Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years pharma/medical device sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Buy & Bill or specialty pharmacy distribution channels.
- Payer reimbursement/market access familiarity.
- Background in biologic, rare disease, immunology, or respiratory/pulmonology specialty sales.
- Experience selling into IDNs/hospital systems.
- Infusion and specialty pharmacy experience.
- Proven account plan development and measurable outcomes.
- Comfortable primarily remote with occasional in-person/hybrid activities.
Work Arrangement/Location:
Field-based role; most work in assigned territory (Seattle, Renton to Bellingham, WA). Candidate resides in Seattle, WA. Relocation assistance not provided. Driving is essential.
Compensation/Benefits:
Annual base salary ranges: $138,000β$230,000 (plus annual bonus and eligibility for share-based long-term incentive). Benefits include health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
