Role Summary
Specialty Account Manager, UPLIZNA- Neuroimmunology- Denver, Colorado. Responsible for representing UPLIZNA to physicians and health care professionals, establishing product sales, and performing total territory account management within a designated geography.
Responsibilities
- Develops a comprehensive and effective territory business plan aimed at achieving and exceeding annual sales goals.
- Promotes UPLIZNA within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair and ethical manner consistent with guidelines.
- Addresses access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
- Develops strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and communicating them to the team.
- Meets or exceeds corporate sales goals; communicates territory activity accurately and timely.
- Drives product demand through education on disease state and product information.
- Provides feedback to sales and leadership about changing environment and results.
- Adheres to compliance policies and guidelines, including PhRMA code.
- Collaborates with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals; coordinates between accounts and Amgen field teams to support account needs.
- Educates healthcare professionals and office staff on site of care options; attends medical congresses as needed.
- Manages promotional and operational budget; maximizes use of resources to achieve goals.
- Completes Company training and administrative duties accurately and timely; functions as a contributing team member.
- Performs other tasks as requested by the Company.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree with 2 years of collective account management experience, sales, and commercial experience, or
- Masterโs degree with 6 years of collective account management experience, sales, and commercial experience, or
- Bachelorโs degree with 8 years of collective account management experience, sales, and commercial experience, or
- Associate degree with 10 years of collective account management experience, sales, and commercial experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience.
- Sales experience in Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, or rare/specialty disease states.
- Site of care and reimbursement experience; experience with institutions and integrated delivery networks.
- Pharma account management selling experience; ability to coordinate across field teams.
- Approximately 80% travel, including some overnight/weekend commitments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; professional, proactive demeanor; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
