Role Summary

Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies, establish relationships with customers, and promote AUVELITY for major depressive disorder in adults and potential future indications. Field-based role requiring access to customers in clinic or hospital settings, with engagement through digital channels. Account management focus, territory leadership, and disease category expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements
  • Develop a comprehensive territory business plan aimed at achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual goals
  • Promote within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner aligned with guidelines
  • Develop strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs
  • Serve as a resource to customers and staff regarding payer policies and processes
  • Maximize use of marketing resources to strengthen customer relationships and confidence to prescribe Axsome medications
  • Communicate territory activity accurately and timely as directed by management
  • Provide feedback to sales, leadership, marketing, and internal departments about changes in the environment and results
  • Complete all training classes in a timely manner
  • Complete administrative duties accurately and timely
  • Manage efforts within the assigned promotional budget
  • Collaborate across all corporate functions
  • Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed
  • Ensure timely access for patients through patient services and savings programs
  • Overnight travel as needed
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management; minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS experience acceptable
  • 5 years of consistent top performance in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales
  • Psychiatry/CNS experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering outstanding results
  • Launch experience strongly preferred
  • Must reside in the territory
  • Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under timelines
  • Comfort with uncertainty and high expectations
  • Patient support services experience a plus
  • Strong digital marketing aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Frequent driving; extended time behind the wheel
  • Prolonged sitting and standing as part of daily duties
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly
  • Overhead reaching to perform liftgate-related tasks
