Shifts Available:
Wednesday β Saturday, 7am β 5pm
Responsibilities (will include, but are not limited to):
- Perform Clinical patient process unit operations per SOPs and batch records.
- Complete required documentation (process transfer, validation, SOPs, batch records).
- Follow safety, quality systems, and cGMP requirements.
- Complete training assignments.
- Work in a cleanroom performing aseptic processing and maintain environmental conditions via area disinfection.
- Use Batch Records, SOPs, and Work Instructions to complete manufacturing operations.
- Solve complex problems; identify innovative solutions.
- Set up manufacturing areas/equipment; perform facility and equipment commissioning.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Managers and production planning to execute daily unit operations across multiple shifts.
- Support shift effectiveness in a team-based, cross-functional environment.
- Collaborate with support groups to resolve technical/operational problems.
- Support development of technically sound, cGMP-compliant manufacturing operating procedures.
- Support quality event investigations.
- Perform related tasks supporting a new startup facility.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Learn and execute Cell Therapy Manufacturing operations.
- Work assigned shift (Day/Night/Weekends/Holidays).
- Work in cleanroom aseptic processing; comfortable with human blood components.
- Be in close proximity to strong magnets.
- Preferred: knowledge of cGMP and FDA guidance for biologics/cell therapy.
- Travel to train/develop at other BMS sites (typically 1 week or less).
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years in cGMP bioprocessing manufacturing, cell therapy manufacturing, or relevant experience.
- Bachelorβs in relevant science/engineering or equivalent experience.
- GMP compliance experience; Data Integrity and ALCOA+ principles.
- Cell therapy manufacturing experience (washing, separation, cryopreservation, expansion using incubators/bioreactors, automated equipment).
- Preferred: aseptic processing in ISO 5 biosafety cabinets; universal precautions in BSL-2.
Benefits/Compensation:
- $40.05β$48.53 per hour (Devens, MA, US); additional incentive may be available (eligibility-based).
Working Conditions (high level):
- Stand/walk for several hours; carry/lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; climb, bend/kneel; overhead work up to 25 lbs.
- Wear PPE and cleanroom garments daily.
