Specialist IS Architect
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and architecture for workforce planning and scenario modeling systems supporting Amgen’s Workforce Strategy and Planning processes.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to translate workforce planning requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Drive implementation and integration of workforce planning tools including Workday Adaptive Planning, Orgvue, and Anaplan Workforce Planning.
- Serve as technical lead for HR technology projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and the broader technology strategy.
- Work independently and mentor less experienced team members.
- Participate in the SAFe Agile framework; lead architectural discussions, develop technical roadmaps, and align with product teams.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging HR/workforce planning technologies; recommend and implement best practices.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an HR-related occupation.
- 2 years’ experience in: Orgvue design setup (baselines, property/configuration, look-up tables, admin access, production/integration support); Anaplan workforce and financial/strategic workforce planning for HR transformation; UAT testing (build test scripts, validate capabilities, log change requests into SNOW, provide production/integration support); Workday or Workday Adaptive workforce planning or HCM; data export integration for Enterprise Data Fabric and integrating Workday data into Workday Adaptive; SAFe Agile framework; project management principles (full lifecycle); building technical workflows/roadmaps and leading technical discussions; documenting HR technology system designs/processes; backend scripting/configuration for new systems; DevOps lifecycle experience; end-to-end workforce planning/modeling for HR transformation.
