Position Summary:
- ADMET Intelligence seeks an experienced full stack developer to support scientific workflow management applications.
What You Will Do:
- Work with laboratory scientists to develop new features and enhance workflow management (assay request handling, plate definitions, sample tracking, results analysis).
- Maintain and extend integrations with internal/external APIs.
- Design, implement, and test PostgreSQL database schema changes; write efficient PostgreSQL queries.
- Write unit tests and integration tests; ensure code coverage.
- Demonstrate best practices in code quality, documentation, CI/CD rigor, and architectural practices for enterprise production.
- Bridge discovery teams and IT/Cloud organizations; convert scientific intent into engineering specifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience building full stack Django applications in Life Sciences/Biotech or similar R&D environment.
- Active GitHub profile with public contributions demonstrating Python experience.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Django ORM, migrations, and model design.
- Experience with Django REST Framework for API development.
- Experience implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Familiarity with ADME assays or compound management systems.
- Knowledge of cheminformatics or pharmaceutical research workflows.
- Strong ability to optimize SQL queries and design schemas for high-throughput data.
- Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Compensation/Benefits:
- Anticipated wage: $72,000 - $213,400.
- Full-time employees may be eligible for a company bonus.
