Summary
- Software Engineer (AI Engineering and Enablement), develop, test, maintain, and enhance software applications/components supporting business and technology needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/test/maintain/enhance software in Python, JavaScript, Java, Go (or similar).
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, efficient code; follow standards/best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business users to translate requirements into solutions.
- Troubleshoot/debug and resolve application issues; escalate complex risks.
- Participate in code reviews; improve code quality, testing, and practices.
- Support integrations with APIs, databases, cloud services, and tools.
- Use AI-assisted development tools/agents for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Improve development processes (agile) and secure application development.
Required Qualifications
- BS in CS/Engineering/IT (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years professional software development.
- 1+ year AI-related development/exposure (AI-enabled apps, automation, or AI-assisted engineering).
- Experience with modern language (prefer Python).
- Fundamentals: design, APIs, testing, debugging, version control.
- Git (or similar).
- Cloud app dev basics (prefer AWS).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS services (S3, Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
- CI/CD, automated testing/deployment; REST APIs/microservices/serverless; SQL/NoSQL; AI-assisted tooling; Agile/Scrum.
