Senior IT Analyst - OT and Lab-Applications
Responsibilities:
- Partner with manufacturing and R&D customers to elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into application and operational requirements.
- Own the application lifecycle for local OT/IT systems: solution development, vendor management, computer system validation (CSV), break-fix support, and release management.
- Guide and manage multiple IT/OT projects: develop plans, manage budgets/schedules, and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and complex troubleshooting of systems, infrastructure, and databases to ensure operational stability.
- Network with IT and OT resources across Elanco to share solutions, capture best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Process Automation, Operational Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years IT experience and 3+ years Operational Technology infrastructure support.
- Demonstrated critical thinking/innovation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to self-manage priorities and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of business processes (lab, supply chain, quality, science, etc.) and strong safety compliance commitment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship anticipated.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technology Integrator or Business Analyst experience.
- Direct CSV experience and knowledge of qualification processes.
- ITIL tools (ServiceNow) and MS Office.
- Manufacturing-related computer systems/data/infrastructure and relational databases.
- Ability to network across sites to identify and implement best practices.
