Site Material Planner
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage mid- to long-term material forecasts and purchasing plans with Global Procurement, Site Planning, and Network Planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and material supply constraints; influence production plans and capacity schedules to support customer demand and site objectives.
- Use SAP for MRP planning, inventory reviews, purchasing signals, and material planning activities.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional planning meetings covering product launches, change controls, and supply issue management.
- Support continuous improvement by enhancing planning processes, resolving SAP-related issues, analyzing business scenarios, and driving inventory optimization.
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field; OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years equivalent Supply Chain experience.
- Experience in supply chain planning, material planning, production planning, inventory management, or related manufacturing environment.
- Material planning and inventory management; problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- APICS certification or strong understanding of Supply Chain planning methodologies.
- SAP experience for MRP, inventory management, and planning processes.
- Experience supporting manufacturing in a regulated or complex production environment.
- Ability to influence internal/external stakeholders and drive planning initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with scenario analysis and actionable business recommendations.
Additional Information:
- Location: Clinton Manufacturing Site – Clinton, IN (Onsite).
- Schedule: Standard 8-hour shift; some travel may be required.
