Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of robust HSE programs and controls to enable safe, compliant start-up of aseptic drug product (ADP) production operations.
- Integrate ADP-specific HSE requirements into site systems, processes, and training.
- Partner with external providers and internal teams to deliver safety performance across construction and operations.
- Develop and continuously improve occupational safety programs (e.g., Process Safety, Electrical Safety, Fire Protection, Emergency Response).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed HSE practices supporting commercial production and research operations.
- Provide expert HSE guidance for new equipment, processes, and technology transfers.
- Lead HSE impact assessments and manage change for compliance and risk mitigation.
- Lead complex investigations with effective root cause analysis and resolution.
- Use HSE data/metrics to drive continuous improvement and business outcomes.
- Promote a high-performance safety culture through training, governance, audits, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years HSE program development/management experience in manufacturing/lab (preferably biopharma); strong technical knowledge across HSE disciplines.
- BS+ in Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Professional HSE certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) strongly preferred.
- Highly desired: experience supporting design/startup of new ADP/LMO facilities (e.g., PHA, P&ID/design documentation review, HSE operational readiness).
- Strong relationship-building across a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication and technical writing.
- Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing regulations and requirements.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $89,600–$166,400 annually; performance-based cash incentive; potential eligibility for annual equity awards; US benefits and time off.
