Sickle Cell Community Liaison - Florida

Role: Field-based Sickle Cell Community Liaison (SCCL) responsible for patient education, engagement, and advocacy within the sickle cell community to support Novo Nordisk’s Rare Disease portfolio. Responsibilities include building relationships with patients, caregivers, advocacy groups, and community organizations; delivering disease and product education; fostering patient-driven demand; understanding healthcare issues impacting the community; and developing strategic territory plans. The role involves coordinating policy initiatives, managing budgets and travel, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (scientific preferred), minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare, advocacy, or pharmaceutical sales, with preferred background in sickle cell disease or specialty pharmacy. Fluency in Spanish is advantageous. The position entails 50-75% overnight travel, working evenings and weekends. High-value specifics include a focus on sickle cell disease, community engagement, patient advocacy, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role reports to the Sickle Cell Community Liaison Leader and emphasizes relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning skills within the US market.
