Shipping Coordinator I

Role: Shipping Coordinator responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products, maintaining inventory, and supporting regulatory compliance within a biopharma environment. Responsibilities: manage inventory transactions, process customer orders, prepare shipping documentation, coordinate shipping schedules, and support order accuracy through documentation and communication with barrier management. Participate in production meetings, review order trends, and assist with root cause analysis of deviations. Support sample collection and process inquiries related to animal inventory. Collaborate with technical teams on health monitoring, genetic testing, and operational improvements using Lean/6 Sigma methods. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; experience or education aligned with logistics, inventory, or supply chain roles; ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk on concrete, and perform physical tasks; strong communication skills in English. Preferred: experience in laboratory or biopharma settings, familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., JDE), and knowledge of regulatory standards like IACUC and AAALAC.
