Overview
Offensive Security Operations (OSO) validates enterprise security controls through adversary emulation and red team engagements, identifying real-world attack paths across enterprise, cloud, and operational environments.
Fellow Responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of red team and adversary emulation activities (track timelines, assist execution logistics).
- Help develop reporting outputs that communicate risk to stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings and complete internal training on how offensive security assessments are planned, executed, and delivered.
- Work across cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and operational technology teams; coordinate with internal and partner stakeholders.
- Use project management tools/processes to track activities, manage dependencies, and deliver outcomes.
Fellow Project
- Partner with OSO team members to learn tools, processes, and methodologies for adversary emulation and red team engagements.
The Fellowship Intends To
- Understand adversary emulation/red team methodologies.
- Understand attack frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and real-world threat simulation.
- Learn offensive security tools, platforms, and environments.
- Support project planning, execution tracking, and reporting.
- Engage cross-functionally to understand enterprise attack surfaces and risk.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (military/technical/professional background valued).
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Project management, organization, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deliverables.
- Results-driven mindset; strategic and critical thinking.
- Cross-functional teamwork experience.
- Interest in cybersecurity/technology/offensive security operations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Fellowhip Logistics / Eligibility
- 12-week fellowship; transitioning service member fellows who complete within last 180 days of transition.
- Primary work site: Remote. Monday–Friday (8:30am–4:00pm, flexible).
- US and Puerto Rico residents only.
