Senior Therapy Access Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute institutional and field access strategy for responsible geography.
- Identify and educate key clinic/institution stakeholders on reimbursement dynamics, patient support services, distribution model, and payer requirements.
- Partner with Sales Account Managers, Clinical Coordinators, and Patient Support Services Hub to support HCP patient access; lead proactive touchpoints with internal partners.
- Conduct/monitor complex benefits investigations and educate on prior authorization (including monitoring PA process and additional education as needed).
- Liaison between patient support services hub and HCP clinics to educate on patient support programs and use of support resources.
- Provide live one-on-one education to HCPs/office staff regarding coverage requirements and payer authorization processes.
- Support complex access issues (reactively) while maintaining compliance.
- Champion compliance/ethical standards and mentor junior team members.
- Analyze payer trends/institutional feedback to inform strategic adjustments and escalation pathways.
- Educate on payer policies/guidelines, PA delays/denials, and appeal processes; review escalated cases for coverage barriers.
- Travel up to 50% (US and Puerto Rico); represent team at national meetings as appropriate.

Experience and Educational Requirements
- 7+ years pharma/healthcare (preferably 5+ years in access/reimbursement); Bachelor’s degree required.
- Track record supporting HCPs/office staff for access/reimbursement; experience with buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy pathways.
- Strong payer environment knowledge; strong patient support program knowledge.
- HIPAA, OIG guidance, Ad Promo, Anti-Kickback Statute, and related compliance knowledge.
- Excellent communication; strong planning/organization.

Preferred / Additional
- Salesforce.com, REMS, and limited distribution product experience.
- Bilingual highly desirable; nursing experience a plus.

- Analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to travel overnight and use personal vehicle when needed.
