Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology — Northern New Jersey territory.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; generate/grow sales by consistently meeting/exceeding targets in an assigned geography (including in-person meetings).
- Build strong relationships with healthcare practices; provide disease awareness information, clinical education updates, and healthcare changes.
- Synthesize complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences; deliver strong presentations/communications.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor progress and create action plans.
- Prepare territory budget plans for customer contacts, educational grants, speaker events, and other external expenditures.
- Partner with internal teams (Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing); collaborate with outside partners as needed.
- Report adverse events per required guidelines; perform required administrative activities (call reporting, expenses, etc.).
- Adhere to applicable regulations/policies and commercial compliance requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma + 11+ years; OR Associate’s + 9+ years; OR Bachelor’s + 7+ years; OR Master’s + 5+ years.
- Travel as needed within assigned area; meet onsite visitation requirements (e.g., vaccinations/background screening as applicable).
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS; 4+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare sales; strong selling skills in competitive markets; proven track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives (specialty markets preferred); product launch experience.
Comp/Benefits (as stated): $153,935–$199,210 base; may include annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
