Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology (Northern New Jersey territory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; generate/grow sales and consistently achieve/exceed sales targets within the assigned geographic area.
- Build relationships with healthcare practices; deliver disease awareness information, clinical updates/education, and healthcare changes.
- Synthesize complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences; use strong presentation/communication; demonstrate a proven record interacting with healthcare professionals.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor sales progress and create action plans.
- Prepare territory budgets for customer contacts, unrestricted educational grants, speaker events, and other external expenditures.
- Partner with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing, and other internal teams (and co-promote with outside partners as applicable).
- Report adverse events; perform required administrative duties (call reporting, expenses, etc.).
- Adhere to regulatory/company policies and business ethics.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma + 11+ years; OR Associate’s + 9+; OR Bachelor’s + 7+; OR Master’s + 5+.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel and onsite visitation of healthcare practitioners as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS; 4+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare sales.
- Superior selling skills in competitive markets; track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives (specialty markets preferred).
- Prior product launch experience.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary range: $153,935.00–$199,210.00; may include annual bonus/long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
