Role Summary

The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (Sr. TAS) in Neuroscience – Cobenfy leads scientific engagement with health care providers to drive adoption of medicines within their portfolio. This field-based role emphasizes delivering a differentiated, evidence-based customer experience, building credibility with regional thought leaders and practitioners, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Located in Beverly Hills, CA, the role requires extensive time in the field with external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows a high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Delivers fair and balanced scientific dialogue through in-office presentations and other educational activities aligned with label information.
  • Organizes external speaker programs, coordinating with approved speakers and managing logistics.
  • Remains current on emerging data for indications and engages Medical on Call for real-time medical support.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure optimal customer experience, gathers insights, and ensures compliance with laws and policies.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and persuasively to clinicians.
  • Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to deliver a differentiated customer experience.
  • Experience in Psychiatry preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with a demonstrated performance history.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience.
