Role Summary

The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (Sr. TAS) in Neuroscience—Cobenfy is a field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within a defined territory, engaging Health Care Providers with scientific dialogue, and delivering a differentiated customer experience to support appropriate patient access. The TAS builds credibility with regional thought leaders and clinicians, collaborates cross-functionally, and prioritizes safe, evidence-based use of BMS products while achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows a high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Utilizes CE^3 and other tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise in presenting information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and discusses product-related scientific information consistent with label.
  • Organizes external speaker programs and coordinates scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emerging data for approved indications; coordinates with Medical on Call for real-time support.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance Customer Experience for HCPs and shares insights with stakeholders; complies with laws and policies.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to assist physicians in patient care.
  • Proven track record of building credibility with key customers and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in Psychiatry preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and a history of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with a proven performance history.
