Position Summary
- Accountable for appropriate adoption of BMS assigned Rheumatology portfolio and generating demand.
- Engage HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) using deep scientific dialogue.
- Serve as primary point of contact for National Thought Leaders (NTLs), regional thought leaders (RTLs), and community-based physicians/HCPs; liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications in a defined territory to meet/exceed assigned sales targets.
- Organize promotional programs (e.g., lunch & learn, speaker programs); create demand via clinical/scientific rationale.
- Maximize AI targeting (CE3) for call planning; participate in OMNICHANNEL interactions.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory and account plans.
- Deliver fair and balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; ensure medical accuracy; present consistent with label.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data; respond to unsolicited scientific questions.
- Proactively collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally; comply with laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse).
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data convincingly; strong selling/promotional skills.
- Account management capability; proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Strong relationship-building with customers and office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Rheumatology experience preferred.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with positive, can-do attitude.
