Role Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Rheumatology - Jacksonville, FL. Field-based role accountable for appropriate adoption of BMS Rheumatology portfolio and generating demand through differentiated scientific engagement with health care providers, thought leaders, and community-based physicians.
Responsibilities
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Organizes promotional programs such as lunch and learn and speaker programs.
- Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
- Maximizes AI-based targeting capabilities to define call plans.
- Participates in omnichannel interactions with customers.
- Maintains high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data convincingly to support patient care.
- Strong selling and promotional skills; proven account management and sales performance.
- Experience building relationships with key customers and office staff; customer-centric mindset for differentiating Customer Experience (Cx).
- Experience in Rheumatology preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
