Position Summary
- Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) responsible for appropriate adoption of the assigned Rheumatology portfolio and generating demand through differentiated Customer Experience and deep scientific dialogue.
- Field-based role; spend time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications in defined territory/region to meet/exceed sales targets; organize lunch & learn and speaker programs; create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale; use AI targeting (CE3) for call plan; participate in OMNICHANNEL interactions; maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory and account plans.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Present using approved resources/publications with medical accuracy; conduct office presentations consistent with label; maintain expertise on emerging data; provide real-time medical support for unsolicited scientific questions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams to optimize HCP Customer Experience; share insights internally; comply with laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse).
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data; strong selling/promotional and account management skills with proven performance.
- Demonstrated relationship building in customer influence network; customer-centric mindset.
- Rheumatology experience preferred.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with positive, can-do attitude.
