Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS), Oncology (Field-based) β Sacramento, CA (and surrounding areas).
Responsibilities
- Promote approved BMS indications within a defined territory to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build/maintain deep scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Develop and implement territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership.
- Deliver fair, balanced, label-consistent scientific dialogue; ensure medical accuracy using approved resources/publications.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) and organize external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data; provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve Customer Experience (Cx); gather/share insights internally.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly.
- Track record building credibility with key customers and delivering differentiated Cx.
- Experience in account management, selling, and meeting/exceeding goals.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and can-do attitude.

- Field (US): $144,500β$175,100; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
