Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in assigned portfolio for appropriate patients by engaging HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx), deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact; prioritize safe/appropriate product use and business results.
- Field-based; spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly; create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans; use CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans.
- Provide fair/balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data; answer unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share internal insights; comply with laws/regulations/policies governing BMS.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Credibility-building customer-facing experience; customer-centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management, selling, and demonstrated sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with positive/can-do attitude.
