Position Summary
- Field-based Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving demand and adoption of BMS medicines within a defined territory by engaging HCPs through differentiated, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications within territory; meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns); ensure medical accuracy.
- Organize external speaker programs (select speakers, manage scheduling/logistics).
- Stay current on emerging data; provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve Customer Experience (Cx); share insights internally.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech experience (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse).
- Experience in Hematology/Oncology.
- Proven account management, selling/promotion skills, and ability to meet/exceed goals.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, can-do attitude.
Desired Skills/Competencies
- Customer/commercial mindset; patient-centric mindset.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and learning agility; comfort using technology/CRM and CE^3.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Field (US): $144,500–$175,100; additional incentive cash/stock may be available (eligibility-dependent).
