Position Summary:
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a field-based role (100% time in the field) responsible for driving demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines within an assigned portfolio by engaging HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx), deeper scientific dialogue, and CE^3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote approved indications within a defined territory to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct label-consistent scientific dialogue; deliver in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Maintain emerging data expertise; respond to unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; gather/share insights; comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Demonstrated credibility with customers; account management and sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Strong cross-functional teamwork and can-do attitude; strong selling/promotional skills.
