Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology- Ft Worth, TX. The TAS is a field-based role responsible for driving demand for BMS medicines within an assigned territory, engaging Health Care Providers with scientifically grounded dialogue, and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) aligned with product labeling and company values. This position requires 100% field-based engagement with external customers across a defined Texas territory.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
  • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients.
  • Demonstrated credibility with key customers and office staff through a customer-centric mindset and commitment to differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
  • Experience in Oncology preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills and a proven performance history.
