Position Summary
- Field-based Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving demand for BMS medicines in an assigned territory by delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed compliant sales targets.
- Build demand by communicating the clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Maintain and grow scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Create and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 tools (once implemented) for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Deliver fair, balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau-approved).
- Stay current on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engage Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; share insights internally.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers and influence network.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management and selling competencies with track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional collaboration mindset.
