Position Summary
- Field-based TAS (100% time in the field with external customers) driving demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines by delivering differentiated, label-consistent Customer Experience (Cx) through scientific dialogue.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications within a defined territory/region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by explaining clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build and maintain scientific expertise in assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Use approved resources/publications accurately to ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations and discuss label-consistent scientific information.
- Organize external speaker programs (speaker selection, scheduling, logistics).
- Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and technical inquiries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams to improve HCP Cx.
- Share insights internally with appropriate stakeholders.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with customers/office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in Neurology (preferred).
- Account management, selling competence, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with positive, can-do attitude.
