Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Neuroscience/MS (TAS)
Location: Field – Springfield, IL/Central IL

Position Summary
- Field-based role driving demand for BMS medicines within a defined territory by engaging HCPs through differentiated scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Builds credibility with regional thought leaders and community physicians/HCPs; collaborates with BMS functions to improve overall Customer Experience (Cx); prioritizes safe/appropriate use while achieving business/performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by explaining clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (when implemented) to gain insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for improvement.
- Provide fair, balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources/publications; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Engage Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions/complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share customer insights; comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with HCPs/office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Strong account management and selling skills with track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness and positive, can-do attitude.

Preferred
- Neurology experience.
