Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Neuroscience, MS - Seattle, WA. This role is field-based and focuses on driving demand for BMS medicines within the neuroscience/neurology portfolio, engaging healthcare providers with deep scientific dialogue, and delivering a differentiated customer experience while prioritizing safe and appropriate use of BMS products.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses CE^3 and other tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Required: Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients.
  • Demonstrated credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create positive Customer Experience (Cx).
  • Experience in Neurology is preferred.
  • Strong account management skills, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with a proven performance history.

Education
