Role Summary

The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) in Neuroscience, MS, is a field-based role focused on delivering scientifically grounded engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs) to drive adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients. The TAS builds credibility with RTLs and community-based physicians/HCPs, collaborates cross-functionally to enhance the Customer Experience (Cx), and prioritizes safe and appropriate use of BMS products while achieving business results.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains high scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses CE^3 and other tools to derive insights and inform call planning; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients.
  • Demonstrated credibility with key customers and colleagues; customer-centric mindset for a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
  • Experience in Neurology is preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with a proven performance record.
