Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Neuroscience/MS (TAS) in Albany, NY. The TAS is a field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within the portfolio by engaging health care providers with a differentiated customer experience through scientific dialogue and compliant promotion of approved indications. This role emphasizes building credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians and delivering a high-quality customer experience while meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise using approved resources and publications to present information to HCPs with medical accuracy.
  • Collaborates with other field teams to ensure the best Customer Experience for HCPs.
  • Engages in comprehensive territory and account planning and uses available tools to derive insights and inform call plans.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and discusses product-related scientific information consistent with label.
  • Organizes external speaker programs, selecting speakers from approved lists and coordinating scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintains working expertise on emerging data for approved indications and provides real-time medical support as needed.
  • Gathers and shares insights with internal stakeholders to better serve customers and complies with laws and policies governing conduct.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately to physicians.
  • Demonstrated credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create a differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in Neurology is preferred.
  • Strong account management and selling competencies with a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with a proven performance history.
  • Must meet company requirements for a qualified driver driver's license and driving risk level as determined by the Company.
