Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in assigned portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) via deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs), physicians/HCPs, office staff, and stakeholders; field-based role with 100% time in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (when implemented) for insights, dynamic call planning, and continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present approved scientific information accurately and in-label.
- Conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data; use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility building with customers and desire for differentiated Cx.
- Neurology experience preferred.
- Account management + selling competencies with proven sales performance.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with a positive, can-do mindset.
