The Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a field-based role (anticipated 100% time in the field with external customers) responsible for driving demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx), deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label, and safe/appropriate product use.

Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications within a defined territory; meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly; create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans; use CE^3 insights to inform call plans.
- Scientific Dialogue & Medical Engagement: Use approved resources/publications accurately; conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns); organize speaker programs; maintain expertise on emerging data; engage Medical on Call for real-time support to answer questions.
- Collaboration/Compliance: Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share insights internally; comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse roles.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility with key customers and stakeholders.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management and sales performance track record; cross-functional teamwork.
