Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory/region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Create demand by articulating the clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Maintain and grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use available tools (e.g., CE^3) to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Engage in fair and balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) consistent with label.
- Organize external speaker programs (selection, scheduling, logistics).
- Maintain working expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
- Proactively collaborate with other field teams; share internal insights with stakeholders.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies governing conduct.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians to support patient care.
- Demonstrated credibility-building with key customers and stakeholders.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Strong account management, selling competencies, and proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, can-do mindset.
- Strong selling and promotional skills.
