Position Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) β Hematology (Field-based).
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved BMS product indications in a defined territory/region to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by explaining balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build and maintain scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Deliver fair, balanced, label-consistent scientific dialogue using approved resources/publications; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) and organize external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data for approved indications; engage Medical on Call for reactive responses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; share insights internally; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers and a customer-centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Demonstrated account management and sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness and strong selling/promotion skills.

Compensation & Benefits (high level)
- US $144,500β$175,100 field-based; additional incentive opportunities may be available.
