Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Hematology - Atlanta North, GA. The TAS is a field-based role focused on engaging Health Care Providers to drive demand for BMS medicines, delivering a high-quality, science-based customer experience and supporting appropriate patient access.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.
  • Engages with and maintains a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses CE^3 and other tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Uses scientific resources to present information to HCPs with medical accuracy.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and discusses product-related scientific information aligned with the label.
  • Organizes external speaker programs and coordinates scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintains current knowledge of emerging data for approved indications.
  • Engages real-time medical support to address unsolicited questions and complex inquiries.
  • Collaborates with other field teams to optimize Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs.
  • Gathers and shares insights with internal stakeholders to improve service to customers.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing BMS conduct.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
  • Experience in Oncology required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey scientific and clinical data clearly to HCPs.
  • Proven ability to build credibility with customers and deliver a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
  • Strong account management and selling competencies with a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Experience engaging across the patient care journey and tailoring engagement accordingly.
  • Patient-focused mindset with data analysis capabilities to inform strategy and targeting.
  • Ability to segment HCPs and tailor communications; proficiency with CE^3 and CRM tools.
  • Comfort with digital communication channels and technology in healthcare business.
  • Integrity and sound judgment consistent with BMS policies.
