Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in the Cardiovascular portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) using deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact; liaise cross-functionally to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
- Field-based role; spend much of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly; create demand by explaining clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow product/Therapeutic Area expertise; implement territory/account plans; use SOPHIA; provide tool feedback to leadership.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources to ensure medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; maintain expertise on emerging data; use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with field teams; share insights internally.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Communicate clinical/scientific data accurately; build credibility with customers; cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management, selling competencies, proven sales performance; cross-functional effectiveness; selling/promotional skills.
Key competencies desired: customer/commercial mindset, patient centricity, scientific agility, analytical capability, digital agility, teamwork/enterprise mindset.
